Except from my life...

So I was sick with strep for the first few weeks of the move in. I was sick when the moving truck came and I also got sunburn that day. I think it's pretty bad when you can get sunburn in October. Moving in went fairly smoothly, I guess. We're still getting things organized even though we've been here a month. Mainly it's just the small personalizing touches and a bit of rearranging things to fit a smaller space. Not having a garage pretty much sucks. We have to keep our bikes under the deck or in the shed for the winter.

I'm pretty much back to the same routine of being my normal, boring self. After two + months of doing absolutely nothing for physical fitness, I've just been lounging around in sweats because none of my pants fit anymore. I try to get a bike ride in when I can, but the fall weather doesn't always allow for it. I've also been trying to do my free weight routine every day. My shoulder is screwed up again, but I think it's just from tension. I might have even pulled something since it sort of feels like that. The pain is in a different place anyway, so it's not the same issue.

Since we got here back in the summer I've managed to  take part in two hikes with the local naturalist group. They're a really great bunch of people and the hikes were a lot of fun. I'm looking forward to taking pare in more of those activities in the future. I'm also toying with the idea of joining the local acting group. I haven't done any acting since school, but I think it would be nice to get back into it. I'm also 44 days away from completing the 365 challenge on Flickr. Hurrah!

Nice to see your life is getting back to normal. Also nice to see you're still getting involved with people more than you were years back.
